Your child’s initial appointment serves as an opportunity to acquaint ourselves with both you and your child, evaluate your child’s current abilities, and gain insight into their strengths and challenges. With this information in hand, we can collaborate on devising a plan to address your concerns and support your child in attaining their objectives.
Outlined below is an overview of what to expect during your child's initial assessment:
Building Rapport: We'll dedicate time to establish a connection with you and your child, fostering open communication while discussing your concerns and your child's medical and developmental background.
Physiotherapy Assessments: Our evaluation will encompass an assessment of your child's movements and play skills, posture and alignment, muscle strength and tone, joint mobility, balance, coordination, and sensory functions.
Collaborative Goal Setting: Together, we'll identify the most significant goals for you and your child, crafting a dynamic treatment plan tailored to your family's needs, aimed at fostering a positive outcome for your child.

We accept a range of payment and funding options to make care as accessible as possible for your family. This includes:
Medicare — with a valid GP Chronic Disease Management (Care Plan). Eligible families can access up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year.
Private Health Insurance — we're recognised by all major funds. Pay at the clinic and claim back through your fund using the invoice we email you.
NDIS (Plan-Managed & Self-Managed) — we invoice your plan manager directly, or send invoices to you if you're self-managing.
NDIS Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) — for children under 9 with a developmental delay or disability. No formal diagnosis required — just a GP or paediatrician referral.
Private Pay — we welcome families paying out of pocket, with no referral required.
